110ml Black Kyusu with two matching cups

This teapot was made with a mineral rich clay. The exterior is unglazed. The interior of the teapot has my signature soft white glaze which helps make the color of the tea being steeped more visible. The soft white glaze also allows some of the natural clay features to come forth. The teapot lid is measured and trimmed with precision to ensure that it fits nice and tight. The built in strainer has approximately 200 small holes that are 1 millimeters in diameter. This strainer functions excellent with all teas.

- Fired in an electric kiln to cone 5 (2118 - 2167 F)
